$1 for a chance to play with great poker players is a good deal.

Not sure about that Gambling Diva - The problem with these sorts of poker tournaments is that the world and their wife enter and its pretty difficult to actually get anywhere cos there is so much competition. I would rather play in a higher entry tournament and hope that with less people playing I ahve got a better chance of winning a seat that in a series of tournaments and satellites where there are hundreds of people competing

I know what you mean Jeff, but this tournament is a good opportunity to see how far you would get to for next to nothing. To get into the world-class tournaments is extremely difficult and financially painful. This sort of competition is aimed at discovering great new players that would not otherwise have an opportunity to even try their luck…. well and for many others who are feeling lucky! I really like these things - for just $1 you can play with a great motivation… You also have to consider the fact that most of people competing will be amateurs, so going forward for experienced player should be a piece of cake until the last few rounds of course, which would remind you of those high-stakes competitions you prefer.
