Losing $1000 in my first ever poker tournie

I will never forget the time I lost a $1000 in the first online poker tournament I had entered; I was bored with all the usual lack of entertainment on the TV and none of my mates were going for a beer, it happens and did what I normally do in such circumstances I played around on my computer and trawled through the net. Looking for interest and entertainment I came across a poker room and after scanning all the well designed pages I decided that it was time for me to join in.
