Winning at bingo - my way

Posted on 15-06-2007 | Posted in General by Gambling Diva

I did not have to have a degree to know that bingo is a game of chance, just in the same way as any lottery. I win at bingo by checking the odds at the online bingo sites that I have looked at, something you should do before you register. I am registered at a number of online casinos and I have gaming alerts sent to my desktop, there are many special offers that attract me and I want to know about them.

I give you a simple example of looking at the online bingo site odds that I refer to; a game with 100 cards costing £1 and paying £50 to the winner is the same as a game with 200 cards at £1 each but paying out £200 to the winner, I stand a better chance of winning in the 100 card game, but the prize money is half of the second game. You must decide whether you want the thrill of winning or bigger payouts.

I think that everyone should play the free online bingo games that are being offered by so many casinos, why would I not want to win something for free, but remember the online operator still has overheads and the prizes usually, though not always are smaller than games which require card purchases.

I believe in the strategy of buying several cards, as many as I can keep my eye on during the game, because the more cards that I buy and have to play with, the greater the chances of winning the game, its common sense especially for jackpot prizes. I always check out online bingo sites that offer special prices or discounts for buying multiple cards and this is where my gaming alert strategy pays dividends.

    Hi Gambling Diva

I read your post last week and had a few games at bingo in my lunch break. It was surprisingly fun. Having been one of those people who wrote bingo off as boring and for old folk, I have been turned around - not 100% mind, I would not confess to my friends and family that I have played and enjoyed the game, not sure I can live with the shame just yet!!

I was encouraged to read that celebs are also playing bingo now and I dont mean the ones that endorse the sites like Sharon Osbourne for Gala Bingo, but I read recently that some charity party had bingo as the main entertainment. That was quite cool I think.

I am glad that there are normal people playing the game as well and I have made a few online mates in the bingo halls - not ones I would socialise with normally, but its a great break from reality to play a few games for 20p and speaking to a few non work people in an hour where I would normally spend £5 at the pub or sittign at my desk running reports!!
