You will always remember your first trip to Vegas

I remember my first trip to Vegas and I can guarantee that you will as well. If like me you are into gaming as a pastime then you will be utterly spoiled for choice as I found out that there are over 95 casinos in Vegas, I did not have the time to get round them all but I tried!

I was dazzled by the number of things that I could do at Vegas, it is an ever-changing fantasy-land of a city, which I was told has seen tremendous expansion in its hundred year history after it emerged out of the desert. I was amongst around 40 million people who visit the city each year and like me they stay in some of the best and most unique hotels in the world.

In my trips to the casinos I was not allowed to take electronic equipment into the rooms and they would not let me answer my mobile ‘phone when it rang. However, I did not have a problem with the rule that I had to be over 21 years of age, which is enforced without exception.

Although I went to Vegas because I like to spin the wheel, play at the poker tables, throw dice, and be absolutely overwhelmed by the banks of slot machines, I enjoyed the sheer number of other attractions that Vegas has to offer. I ate in some of the best 5 star restaurants in the world and I found that, like the rest of the U.S. Vegas was generous in the portions of food on my plate. I even played on one of the finest golf courses that I have seen, but afterwards, decided that I was better at playing poker.

I recommend that when you visit Vegas for the first time, and I promise you will never forget it, you should do as much advance planning as you possibly can. I did my homework on the casinos, and took advice form the concierge at my hotel about restaurants, and taxi and car hire, I will always remember my first time in Vegas and so will you.

Vegas is the dogs!! I just got back this weekend. I even managed to catch a glimpse of the WSOP - those guys (and gals) are hard core. I couldnt take the pressure of betting all that money, live and televised. Imaging ebding up in a heads up with Phil Ivey or someone - that would be surreal!!

Aside from the WSOP though Vegas was mad, you get so caught up in the heat and craziness of the city - the city never sleeps man, the noise in non stop, even on the flight home I was hearing teh Kerching of the slot machines!!
